The release of this new four silhouettes has taken place in two parts: first a White Canvas was released on February 23rd together with a Stan Smith and a Tennis Hu. This Pack was inspired by the original condition of clothes at the Holi festivities. And the branding of the NMD Trail Hu featured the inscription “WORLD” in English (on the Right shoe) and Hindi (on the Left).

Secondly the Powder Dye Pack dropped last Friday, on March 16th, with three new itinerations symbolizing the colorful variety of the festival. The collection was closed with a vast amount of clothes and Tennis Hu released at adidas.de

The first colorway of the NMD Hu presented a Black Upper with purple accents, and the branding “EQUALITY”.

In mine opinion, Pharrell’s collaborations with Adidas will remain successful if they continue this topics of Global Equality and Heritage. I also think that it was a brillant idea how the commercial roll out of the shoe was planned, with the two releases still connected with the overall concept of the shoes.

I am anxious to know where this collaborative journey is going to take us next, after meeting the Native American MHA Nation in North Dakota and the Holi Festival in India.
