To start off the new year as hard as the last one ended, Jordan Brand is already setting the bar really high for Sneaker Collaborations in 2018.
Following the same method as with the Air Jordan IV x Kaws (which also released early last year), this Wednesday January 17th, in celebration of the heritage and 50 year anniversary of the Levi Strauss & Co. denim Trucker Jacket, Jordan and Levis are dropping a Jordan IV and a Reversible Trucker Jacket.
The shoes feature authentic denim material all over the upper and parts off the midsole (like the Kaws), gum details on the outsole, gold stitching, laces in blue indigo color and a red Levi’s Tab specifying the pair’s size.
Also the famous Levi’s “Two Horses” paper patch, adapted to include the Jumpman logo, appears on the shoe’s tongue and the hangtag.
The Jordan Reversible Trucker Jacket puts together the Levi’s Denim Jacket and the classic Jordan Flight Suit. It features worn denim, red Flight Suit material in the underarm and a Flight logo on the back. The reverse side, however, is a black flight suit with a denim collar and a red Jumpman Flight logo on the back.
The collection is obviously going to be very limited, available at selected Levis and Nike retailers. The Jordan IV are dropping for 250€ and the Reversible Trucker Jacket for 190€.
It is still unclear if the shoes are going to be available at Nike.com.
