Sneakerness is back for the fall season with the biggest sneaker-event in Germany. Again at the POST X convention center, sneaker enthusiast from all around Europe got together to buy, sell and trade shoes.
Everything was to find: brand new sneakers, hyped stuff, Supreme, Supreme x LV, the latest Off-White collab with Nike, yellowed shoes from the 90s, sneakerdisplays, customs and way more.
Big german retailers Overkill and The Good Will Out, brands like Footlocker, Crep Protect and FILA, a stand from PRAISE Magazine and from the Sneakerness team (raffling their new sneaker in collaboration with Kangaroos) and also the store MONOX from my hometown Aachen were there.
About Sneakers, it was interesting to see the new and very limited pairs from Nike and Off-White, that in Europe only released so far in Paris, London and Milan: The Air Jordan I, the Presto, the Air Max 90 and the Blazer. Other rare shoes from the past year like the Tom Sachs Mars Yard 2.0, the Royal Satin Air Jordan I, the Just Don Air Jordan 2 in the Beach colorway and the E.A.R.L. or best known as Nike Hyper Adapt were being wear by single people or sold in a few booths. Besides from that, every limited released and also a lot of the general released shoes of the past few weeks and 20 years old Jordans and Trainers were being sold. But mostly from Nike: Air Max 1s, Air Max 97s, Jordans, Air Force 1s; and is cleared to me that Nike has own and its going to own till the end this 2017.
From Adidas it was surprising to see a few pairs of the upcoming second instalment of the Human Race NMDs with Pharrell, that are releasing in November.
Also Afew was indirectly present: with people wearing the brand new collab with Saucony, released in Düsseldorf that morning, and also shoes being sold in a couple stands like the ,,Highly Addictive” with Diadora and the ,,Koi” Asics Gel Lyte III.
The Supreme-hype at Sneakerness Cologne was never seen before for me, with several stand selling stuff from the New York brand. They were all latest releases: shoe collabs like the SUPTEMPOS and the Air Force 2s, most clothing pieces from this season, CDG Boxlogos, the last week release with SCARFACE, a lot of the famous ,,always hyped but mostly useless items” (like the air Zeppelin, a lot of red security cases, the shovel and surprisingly also already the Scarface Lamp), stickers for 20 Euros and the collaboration that broke the bank with Louis Vuitton.
One of the booths caught really the attention of everybody with tons of old and interesting Supreme tees selling in the price range from 70 to 500 Euros. They got regular printed tees and at the same time also Boxlogos or the Mike Tyson T-Shirt.
Finally a few other photos of sneaker releated products and art at the Sneakerness.
The tour is going to closed out the year with two more stops next month. For it first time overseas in Johannesburg (18.11) and then in Rotterdam at the Van Nelle Fabriek (25.11).
